The Holy Gospel for this Church year is St. Mark. We will explore this Gospel, written by a man named John Mark. Mark's Gospel is the shortest of the Gospels, and in contrast to popular opinion, I will make the argument that Matthew was the first Gospel written and Mark is an abbreviation of it, or at least of parts of it.
